John "Bub" Allen Carlisle, Jr.
September 21, 1924 - January 17, 2018
John “Bub” Allen Carlise, Jr., age 93, a resident of Bogalusa, LA, passed away on Wednesday, January 17, 2018 at Heritage Manor Nursing Home in Franklinton. He was born on September 21, 1924 in Pascagoula, MS. He was a Veteran and served in the United States Army.
He is survived by two sons, Darrell (Dianne) Carlisle of Bogalusa, LA, and Allen (Debbie) Carlisle of San Antonio, TX; a sister, Marie Borde of Bogalusa, LA; also survived by seven grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; other relatives, and friends.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Alma Lee Walters Carlisle; four sisters, Lois Applewhite, Ramona Carlisle, Wilena Wascom, and Sylvia Galloway.
Visitation will be held at Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home on Friday, January 19, 2018 from 5:00 P.M.-8:00 P.M. Visitation will continue on Saturday, January 20, 2018 at Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home Chapel from 9:00 a.m.–11:00 a.m. Funeral Services will begin at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Greg Whaley officiating. Interment will follow at Ponemah Cemetery.
