Delaine Brumfield Riley
September 10, 1934 - December 15, 2017


DELAINE BRUMFIELD RILEY, AGE 83 and a resident of Bogalusa, died after 6:00 pm Friday evening December 15th 2017 at North Oaks Medical Center. She was a former telephone operator and an employee of Rutter Rex many years ago. She enjoyed reading, especially the newspapers which allowed her to keep up with current events. Delaine had many dear friends at the Westminster Senior Living Center and she also enjoyed spending time with her family.
Survived by: 4 Sons and Daughters in law: Randall J. and Linda Riley of Bogalusa, Gregory D. and Pamela Riley of Franklinton, Renoir V. “Skipper” and SumAe Riley of Cooperas Cove, TX,, John I. and Laura Riley of Tylertown; Daughter and Son in law: Debbie and Richard Jenkins of Bush; 10 Grandchildren and Spouses; 25 Great-grandchildren; 4 Great-great-grandchildren
She was preceded in death by her husband Julius Riley, her parents Isaac Brumfield and Dollie Smith Brumfield, sisters Freddie Mae Running, Eunice Fazzino, brothers J.L. Brumfield, Lindsey Brumfield and 4 infant siblings.
Visitation will be at Crain Funeral Home Tuesday December 19th from 9 am until 2 pm. A funeral service will be held at 2 pm Tuesday in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Michael Thomas and Bro. Bill Moon officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Hermon Cemetery.
