Senator Beth Mizell Recognized by Childcare Association Of Louisiana

The Childcare Association of Louisiana announced in a Facebook post that they have named Senator Beth Mizell as Senator of the Year for the 2017 Regular Session of the Louisiana Legislature. The post goes on to say that Senator Mizell was very supportive of CCAL's position on legislative issues and worked tirelessly to ensure the health, welfare and safety of children as it relates to early childhood education.
The Childcare Association of Louisiana is a statewide, nonprofit membership organization comprised of licensed early learning centers and individuals engaged providing high quality early childhood education to Louisiana’s most precious asset: children.
Senator JP Morrell was also named as Senator of the Year. He and Senator Mizell will be presented with a plaque in their honor at the Childcare Association of Louisiana Legislative Summit and Luncheon on July 28th in Baton Rouge.
