Michael Jerry Barber
August 31, 1953 - June 15, 2017


MICHAEL JERRY BARBER, AGEG 63 and a resident of Franklinton died Thursday morning June 15, 2017 at Lakeview Regional Medical Center. He was a longtime truck driver for several area companies through the years. Michael was an outdoorsman that enjoyed hunting and fishing. He also enjoyed playing music on his guitar. “Uncle Mike”, as he was known to those close to him, loved cooking out and spending time with his friends and family, especially the many young children.
Survived by: Numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and cousins
He was preceded in death by his parents Bonnie Barber Corkern and R.J. Corkern and sister Sharon Corkern.
A private family gathering and memorial service honoring Uncle Mike will be held in the near future.
