Mother Bibbie Nell Magee

August 24, 1946 — October 19, 2026

Bobbie Magee was born to the late Margarite and Zeb Gatlin on August 24, 1946.

Bobbie was a faithful member of Faith In The Word Ministries since June 12, 2012 until her health started failing her and even then she still stood strong on the word of God until she departed this life on October 19, 2026 at her home.

Bobbie leaves to cherish all her loving memories her husband of 61 years, Sterling Magee of Franklinton, LA; one daughter, Margaret (Timothy) Henderson of Franklinton, LA; one Godson, Ricky Marks of Franklinton, LA; five grandchildren, Tierra ( Destin Kelly) Gatlin, Nicholas (Morgan) Gatlin, Timara Henderson, Shonqualya Henderson, and Kaitlynn Henderson all of Franklinton, LA; four great-grandchildren, Wyatt Gatlin, Michael Kelly, Destiny Gatlin, and Everleigh Gatlin all of Franklinton, LA; one sister, Ollie (Truly) Smith of Franklinton, LA; one brother, Robert (Ruthie) Gatlin of Franklinton, LA; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Bobbie was preceded in death by her parents, Margarite and Zeb Gatlin; four sisters, Antoinette McGee, Nita Gatlin, Rose McGee, and Alice Bickham; four brothers, Randy Gatlin, George Gatlin, Clarence Gatlin, and Gary Gatlin.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, October 31, 2026 from 10:00AM - 12:00PM followed by the funeral service at 12:00PM at Faith In The Word Ministries, 23749 Hwy 430 Franklinton, LA 70438 with Pastor Jacob Tate, Jr. - Officiating Pastor. Interment will be held at Greenback Cemetery.
