Easly was booked into the St. Tammany Parish Correctional Center on the charges of Conspiracy to Commit Murder, Attempted Murder, Possession of Burglary Tools, Home Invasion, and Juvenile in Possession of a Firearm. The 16-year-old male was booked into the Florida Parishes Juvenile Detention Center on the charges of Conspiracy to Commit Murder, Attempted Murder, and Possession of Burglary Tools.
“This was an extremely dangerous and reckless act that could have ended in the loss of life,” Sheriff Randy Smith said. “We are very fortunate the victim was not injured. I want to commend our patrol deputies for their rapid response and swift investigative work in identifying and apprehending those responsible. Their professionalism and dedication ensured these individuals were taken off the street before anyone else was put at risk.”
