William Carl Seals

June 5, 1945 - August 22, 2025

William Carl Seals, age 80 and of Angie, La, passed away on August 22, 2025. He was born on June 5, 1945, to the late John and Evie Seals.

William, known for his fun-loving spirit and jovial nature, never met a stranger. He was always quick to lend a hand to neighbors, friends, and anyone in need. He cherished time outdoors, especially fishing and farming, and had a lifelong love for his dogs.

For nearly 45 years, William was a devoted member of Stateline Missionary Baptist Church, where he joyfully sang in the choir and dedicated much of his time to supporting and raising funds for the youth group. His community involvement also extended to the District 4 Pine Stateline Volunteer Fire Department, where he had a special passion for designing and fabricating fire trucks. A man of many talents, he was a proud member of the Sheet Metal Workers Union for 22 years and was skilled as both a certified welder and an electrician.

William was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 59 years, Linda Gail Seals; his parents, John and Evie Seals; his brothers, John W. Seals, Conrad Seals, and Wilton “Buddy” Seals; his sister, Virgie Sue Branch.

He is survived by his children, William Christopher Seal and Sabrina L. Seal, who will carry forward his legacy of kindness, resilience, and love for family. His grandson, Nicholas Drake Seal and niece Linda Branch Magee. Aunt and Uncle William O’Neal and Barbara Seals.

William’s life was a testament to hard work, faith, and generosity. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Visitation will be at Crain Funeral Home Tuesday, August 26, 2025 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm and after 9:00 am on Wednesday. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel at 11:00 am Wednesday, August 27, 2025 with Dr. Bryant Barnes officiating. Burial will follow in the Seals Tullos Cemetery.
