Elaine will be received in heaven by her husband of 54 years, Alton Primes, her youngest son, Jerry Allen Primes, her brothers; Larry Luper, Leroy Luper, Johnny Ray Luper, Willie Jay Luper, and her sister, Nellie Luper Hunt Sandifer.

She will be grieved by her oldest son; Jeffery Primes, her daughter; Janez Primes Johnston, her brothers; Jimmy Luper, Bobby Luper (Delores), and sisters; Betty Amacker (Billy), Pauline Branch (Robert), Sybil Seal, and Sally Gainey, her grandchildren; Jerry Alton Primes (Hannah), Kaedea Primes, Gage Primes, Ross Lambert (Amanda), and Landon Johnston (Ashlee), and many great grandchildren, and numerous nieces, and nephews.

Elaine was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. In life she was a substitute teacher, worked on A. G. Magee dairy farm with her husband in Franklinton for 15 years, and was Machinist at Universal Wear Parts in Tylertown, Mississippi for 25 years before she retired. Elaine loved accompanying her husband to south Louisiana while he worked with Louisiana Wildlife and Fisheries and in retirement, traveling along the Gulf Coast to enjoy the restaurants and visit casinos together. In her later years, she enjoyed watching the hummingbirds every summer on her porch, where she also tended to a number of lovely succulents and flowers. She loved visiting with family at Sunday dinners, getting to see her great grand babies and spoiling them every chance she got. Elaine was deeply loved by all who knew her and her care and compassion will be a treasured memory.

A memorial service for Elaine will be held at Crain Funeral Home in Franklinton on Sunday July 27th from 12:00 pm until 4:00 pm.
