Gordon Edwin Robinson, age 83, was born in New Orleans, LA on September 13, 1941, passed away on June 26, 2025, at the V.A. Medical Center in New Orleans, LA. He was a veteran that served his country in the United States Army, before returning back to Bogalusa, LA.
Gordon is preceded in death by his parents Clyde Robinson and Mary Helen Bush Robinson; a son Kristopher Shane Robinson, siblings McCowan “Mack” Robinson, Percy Robinson, and Mary Alice Carson.
Mr. Robinson is survived by his son Eric “Rusty” (Laurie) Robinson of Yucaipa, CA; a sister Carol Smith of Prairieville, LA; grandchildren Shelby Robinson, Colby Wofford, Shaelyn Robinson.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday July 3, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home, with visitation starting at 10:00 a.m. The Rev. Larry Lassley will officiate the service and Inurnment will follow in the V.A. Plot in Ponemah Cemetery. The American Legion Magic City Post #24 will perform military graveside rites.
