Our Lady of the Angels Pediatric Clinic is proud to welcome Emily Harrison, MD to its team of care providers. Dr. Harrison joins the talented team of pediatricians at Our Lady of the Lake Children’s Health – Bogalusa, serving families across Washington Parish and surrounding communities. She brings pediatric emergency medicine experience from her previous role at Children’s Hospital New Orleans. In 2014, she completed her pediatric residency where she was Chief Resident of the Department of Pediatrics at the Louisiana State University School of Medicine.
Dr. Harrison is a Louisiana native and a graduate of Tulane University where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in History. She went on to earn her Doctor of Medicine from the Louisiana State School of Medicine in New Orleans. Dr. Harrison has earned numerous academic awards, honors and distinctions. She is licensed by the Louisiana State Board of Medical Examiners and is board-certified by the American Board of Pediatrics. Her training includes certifications in Pediatric Advanced Life Support, Advanced Trauma Life Support and Advanced Cardiac Life Support.
Dr. Harrison has demonstrated a deep passion and commitment to improving the health and well-being of children and their families. She is looking forward to lending her expertise to improving the health of children in Bogalusa and across Washington Parish.
