Joy Bush Keen
March 23, 1932 - March 2, 2021
On March 2, 2021, Mrs. Joy Keen, age 88, passed away peacefully at Our Lady of the Angels Hospital. She was a resident of Bogalusa, Louisiana.
Mrs. Keen was survived by a son: Carlos Wayne Keen; four daughters: Lynda (Donald) Freeman, Debra (Donald) Bryan, Denise (Jackie) Cooper, and Genise Lawrence; six grandchildren: Brandon, Stacey, Courtney, Jennifer, Virgil, and Josh; thirteen great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her former spouse Mr. James Willard Keen; four sisters: Elsie Corkern, Juanita Mizell, Edna Giordano, and Rosie Jones; 2 grandchildren: Laurinda Martin and Andy Freeman; and her parents: Mary and William Bush.
Services will be at New Life Pentecostal Church in Bogalusa, Louisiana. Visitation will be from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM on March 4, 2021. The Service will be at 1:00 PM on March 5, 2021.
Brown-McGehee Funeral Home in Bogalusa, Louisiana is in charge of arrangements.
