Be Careful! Bike Race is Saturday, June 9

Parish President Richard Thomas advises the public of the Tour de Louisiana bike race set for this weekend with the first phase of the race being in Washington Parish. The race will begin Saturday, June 9 at 9 am in Stoney Point near Frankinton. A 16 mile loop on hilly roads near Washington Parish and St Tammany Parish line is the course, which will remain open to vehicular traffic.
Please be careful as you travel the roads on Saturday morning as there will be many bicycle racers participating in this event.
