
Schilling seemed intoxicated and having problems standing upon exiting the vehicle. Officers conducted a pat down and located an illegal pill in Schilling's front pants pocket. Schilling was placed under arrest.
Officers observed in the rear seat an ice chest with netting on one side. The netting contained a handgun and an open container of alcohol. Officers smelled a strong odor of marijuana coming from the ice chest. The ice chest contained a large amount of marijuana, and a smaller chest with marijuana packaged for sale. The vehicle also contained digital scales used for selling and packaging drugs, Xanax, five Ecstacy pills, three Acetaminophen and Hydrochloride pills (Schedule 2), baggies to package illegal drugs and an open bottle of Hennessy Cognac.
The recovered handgun was confirmed as stolen.
Devin Schilling was arrested on fifteen drug, traffic, firearms, and other charges.
