Bogalusa Police Follow Tracks and Arrest Eight

The Bogalusa Police Department responded to a report of a burglary in the 1200 block of Sunset Drive on Friday, June 30, 2017. The complainant showed officers the trail of very clear shoe prints with a visible logo leading to the residence next door. Officer knocked on the door and asked all the occupants of the residence to step outside so the burglary next door could be investigated. One of the suspects, Nigell Johnson, had on work boots with dirt on them and the same logo that was imprinted in the dirt near the burglarized residence.
As they performed a protective sweep of the residence, officers observed marijuana, marijuana plants and drug paraphernalia in plain view. All of the occupants of the residence was placed under arrest for the items that were observed in plain view.
A search warrant was obtained and also located were the following: Marijuana packaged for sale, scales, marijuana seeds, marijuana grinder, marijuana smoking pipes, three marijuana plants, two shot guns and one hand gun.

Arrested were 

• Nigell Johnson (23) of Foxworth, MS for Simple Burglary, Possession of Marijuana, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia; 
• Helena Hudson (18) of Angie, LA for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Possession of Schedule 4 Drugs (Xanax), and Possession of Marijuna; 
• Ethan Stewart (18) of Angie, LA for Possession of Marijuana; 
• Willis Penton, Jr. (18) of  Bogalusa, LA for Possession with Intent to Distribute Marijuana and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, 
• Timothy Porter  (18) of Bogalusa, LA for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Possession of Marijuana; 
• Alexander Esteva (17) of Bogalusa, LA for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Possession of Marijuana;  
• Shyanne Seal (21) of Angie, LA for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Possession of Marijuana; 
• Monica Stewart (36) of Angie, LA for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Possession of Marijuana.
