
Detectives determined that Dillon had visited a Biloxi, Mississippi pawn shop and sold items taken in the James Creel Road burglary. Warrants were obtained for Dillon’s arrest. Dillon was located and arrested by the Louisiana Attorney General’s Fugitive Recovery Task Force at a residence in Abita Springs.
Dillon is now in the Washington Parish Jail where he is being held on charges of contempt of court and two counts of burglary of an inhabited dwelling.
“This is another example of several law enforcement agencies working together to apprehend a thief,” stated Sheriff Randy Seal. “I appreciate all the work of the various agencies in this matter and want to assure all criminals that we will continue to spread a wide net to find you. You can try to hide, but eventually we will catch you.”
