David Troy Jimenez, Jr.
October 1, 2007 - May 6, 2025
David Troy Jimenez, Jr., age 17 and a resident of Franklinton, passed away early Tuesday morning May 6, 2025. He was born in Metairie on October 1, 2007. David was a student at Franklinton High School that loved hanging out with his family above everything else. Together they enjoyed working on cars, swimming in the Bogue Chitto River, and any other family function that was going on. David enjoyed family vacations and loved going to the Washington Parish Free Fair every year, every day that the fair was open. He enjoyed driving around with the top down, listening to his favorite music as loud as it would go. David never knew a stranger. He will be forever missed and loved by all that knew him.
Survived by: Father: David Troy Jimenez, Sr. of Franklinton; Mother and Stepfather: Lori Swanson Jimenez and Daniel Haro III of Metairie; Brothers: James Raymond Jimenez, Hunter Haro; Sister: Khloe Becnel; Grandparents: Frank and Linda Jimenez of Belle Chasse, Lee and Janelle Swanson of Destrehan; Also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and many dear friends
Visitation will be at Crain Funeral Home (1109 Bene Street, Franklinton, LA) Saturday May 17th from 11:00 am until 2:00 pm. A memorial service celebrating David’s life will be held in the funeral home chapel at 2:00 pm Saturday.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations to Down By The Branch of the Washington Parish Fair at (Down By The Branch, Washington Parish Free Fair, P.O. Box 574, Franklinton, LA 70438).
