Tropical Weather Disturbances Today

Disturbance 1: Hurricane Hanna, the first Hurricane of the 2020 Atlantic Hurricane Season, is
packing 75 MPH sustained winds as it threatens Texas and Mexico. Hanna is expected to produce heavy rains across portions of southern Texas and northeastern Mexico.

Disturbance 2: Tropical Storm Gonzalo will be over the southeastern Caribbean on Sunday. It is expected to weaken into a trough of low pressure and continue on a west-northwestward track.

Disturbance 3: A Tropical wave a few hundred miles southwest of Cabo Verde Islands is expected to move westward over the next several days. A tropical depression could form by early next week.
