A tropical wave located over Hispaniola, the southeastern Bahamas, and the adjacent waters of the southwestern Atlantic is moving west-northwestward at about 15 mph. This system is expected to
move over the southeastern Gulf of Mexico by Tuesday, and then move across the central Gulf on Wednesday and reach the northwestern Gulf on Thursday. This disturbance is currently producing
disorganized shower activity, but environmental conditions are expected to become a little more conducive for development once the system reaches the Gulf of Mexico.
