Katherine Miller
June 26, 1936 - July 21, 2020



Katherine Miller, passed away on Tuesday, July 21, 2020, at the age of 84, at North Oaks Medical Center in Hammond, LA. She was a life long member of West Side Emmanuel Baptist Church, Bogalusa, LA. Katherine enjoyed being outdoors gardening. She was also a natural caregiver, for the elderly whom she worked with for many years. Her greatest pleasure was spending time with her family.

She is survived by four sons Ted Brandon of Varnado, LA., Christopher Brandon of Bogalusa, LA., Doug Brandon of Varnado, LA., and Greg McClendon of Bogalusa, LA. Two daughters Kathy Consolaro of Sanderson, FL., and Angel Miller of Bogalusa, LA. One brother Ernest McClendon of Lumberton, MS. One sister Polly McClendon of Bogalusa, LA. Thirteen grandchildren and eight great-great grandchildren. One great-great grandchild. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and other friends and family.

Katherine is preceded in death by her parents Zelmer Ernest and Alberta Lott McClendon. One son Kenneth “Grizzly” Brandon. Two brothers David McClendon and Theodore McClendon. One sister Avis Robins.

Services will be at Brown-McGehee Funeral Home in Bogalusa, Louisiana. Visitation will be from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM on July 25, 2020. The Funeral Service will be at 2:00 PM on July 26, 2020. Interment will be at Rester Cemetery in Varnado, Louisiana.
