Murder Suspect & Hammond Robbery Suspect Arrested in Pike County, MS

On May 20, 2020, the Pike County Sheriff's Office, the Mississippi Bureau of Narcotics, and the U.S. Marshall Fugitive Recovery Task Force arrested Austin D. Cole, aka Rell, last week (May 20, 2020) for the murder of Raheem Brown.

Law Enforcement Officers have relentlessly pursued Cole since the murder on April 12, 2020. Cole was arrested without incident on Summit Drive in Lincoln County, MS, while a passenger in a gray 2017 Nissan Maxima.

During the investigation, officers learned that some individuals were assisting Cole evade authorities. Also arrested for Accessory After the Fact of Murder were Angelica "Jelly" Chapman, Justin J. Monley, Fransheka L. Mark, and Quardavion T. White.

Monley was also booked into the jail for Possession of Controlled Substance Enhanced by the Possession of a Firearm, Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon, and Leaving the Scene of an Accident. White was also booked into the jail for an active warrant from the Hammond Police Department for Robbery.
