Parish Jail Escapee Judd Taylor Caught in Biloxi

Judd Scott Taylor (33), a Washington Parish Jail trustee who escaped on March 29, 2020, was captured on April 2, 2020 in Biloxi, Mississippi. He was returned to Washington Parish yesterday (April 3, 2020) and booked into the Washington Parish Jail on the charges of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Fugitive Other Jurisdiction, Contempt of Court, Failure to Appear, and Simple Escape.

Taylor waived extradition and jail deputies Chance Johnson and Barry Cooper transported him from the Harrison County, Mississippi Jail to Washington Parish. While Taylor was on the run, he received medical treatment for an arm injury suffered when he fell from the top of the jail fence while escaping. The investigation into the escape continues. Meanwhile, Taylor has been medically assessed and appropriately housed in the Washington Parish Jail. Bond has been set at $4000.00.

“He’s back where he belongs,” stated Sheriff Randy Seal. “Many thanks to Harrison County law enforcement officers for making the capture.”
