Elmer Fornea
March 12, 1932 - April 25, 2020



Elmer Fornea Sr. was born March 12, 1932, passed away on Saturday April 25, 2020 at his daughter’s home. He was 88 years old. He retired after 38 years with Crown Zellarbach. He was a native of Varnado and longtime resident of Bogalusa.

He was preceded in death by his first wife Faye Landrum Fornea and his second wife Cecile Lawrence Fornea.

Mr. Elmer is survived by his four children Cindy Tynes of Robert, LA., Elmer Fornea Jr. (Julie) of Santa Fe, TX., Mary Penton (Percy) of Angie, LA., and Genie (Gene) Williams of Angie LA.; 12 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
