Amite Police Looking for Suspect in Wal Mart Theft

Crime Stoppers of Tangipahoa, Inc. reports that the Amite City Police Department began an investigation into a theft that occurred at Wal Mart in Amite on March 19, 2020. During the investigation Officer's obtained information that the white male seen in this photo entered Wal Mart and concealed numerous hand tools in an empty box. The subject leaves the store failing to render payment for the items. The subject was approached by Wal Mart employees about the theft and he began running. The subject entered a small white car and fled the scene.
