Obituary

Jacqueline Ann King
May 10, 1949 - March 12, 2020

“For I am already being poured out like a drink offering, and the time has come for my departure. I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day–and not only to me, but also to all who have longed for his appearing.” 2 Timothy 4:6-8

After a long search, Jacqueline(Jackie) Ann King has finally found her heavenly ranch on Thursday March 12, 2020 at the age of 70. Born on May 10,1949, most will remember Jackie for her feisty spirit.

Reunited with her at heaven’s gates include: parents, Thomas and Marie; her son Ronnie; siblings, Sharon, Peggy, Ellen, Richard, Billy, Terry, and Jeffrey; nephews, Bobby and Ricky; a very special friend, Carol; and the love of her life, Tony.

Left to cherish Jackie’s memory include: her daughter, Jannie; 3 granddaughters, Jaclyn(Ariel), Alyssa (Aaron), and Katrina (Dillon); great-granddaughters, Dakota and Aubree; siblings, Tommy, Pat, Joey and Lorraine; many cousins, nieces and nephews; and many acquired grandchildren.

The family would like to thank the staff at Resthaven Living Center(Brookside), the 4th floor nurses and techs at Lakeview Regional Medical Center, and Hospice Compassus for the love and care she was provided in her last days.

Jackie will be honored at an upcoming mass on March 29,2020 at Annunciation Catholic Church in Bogalusa, where she was a member.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to her final expenses or to the Alzheimer’s Association.
