Lucy Carson

Sister Lucy Carson was born on August 20, 1944 to the late Mr. Kelly Conerly and Ms. Almaya of the Hackley Community.

She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Her family was very dear to her heart.

She leaves to cherish her memories; three sons, Earnest Conerly, Mark Conerly and Donald Ray Conerly all of Franklinton, LA. Two grandchildren that she raised as her own; Terry Conerly and Reggie Conerly of Franklinton, LA. Three sisters, Harris Mae Silas, of DeRidder, LA; Velma Brown of Franklinton, LA and Mary Lee (Curtis) Bickham of Franklinton, LA. Four brothers, Willie Earl Conerly, Herbert Conerly, Early Conerly and B.B.B Conerly of Poplarville, MS. Eight grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, a host of sister-in-laws, brother-in-laws, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, Kelly Conerly and her mother, Almaya Conerly and two daughters, Tammy Conerly and Cindy Brown; one brother, Kelly Conerly, two sisters; Edna Conerly and Virgie Lee Robinson and her husband, Donald Carson.

Visitation will be held Saturday, January 18, 2020 from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Crain and Sons Funeral Home, 2000 Washington Street, Franklinton, LA., and the funeral service will follow at 11:00 a.m.
