Jeffery Ryan Schilling, age 32 and a resident of Mount Hermon, Louisiana, died Wednesday morning September 18, 2019. Ryan was born in Franklinton on April 14, 1987. He loved mud riding on his ATV and in his truck. Ryan enjoyed fishing on the Bogue Chitto River, hunting and the outdoors. He always loved playing basketball with his children.
Survived by: 3 Children: Alexis Gail Schilling, Noah Ryan Schilling, Brian Cade Blades; Mother: Donna McClendon Schilling of Mt. Hermon; Brother and Sister in law: Austin Dean Schilling and Chelsey Sharp Schilling of Mt. Hermon; 2 Nephews: Nicholas Austin Schilling, Colton River Schilling; Grandfather: John P. McClendon of the Sunny Hill Community; Aunts and Uncles: Rachel and Earl Gill, Gwen and Scott Thompson all of Mt. Hermon, Stacey and Tripp Branch of Sunny Hill; Also numerous cousins, other family members and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his father Jeffery Dean Schilling, a grandmother Gail Verberne McClendon, nephew Brody Dean Schilling, niece Natalynn Kate Schilling, grandparents Ronald Schilling and Dorothy McElveen Schilling and other family members.
Visitation will be at Crain Funeral Home Friday September 20th from 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm and after 10:00 am on Saturday. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel at 2:00 pm Saturday with Rev. Randall Garcia officiating. Burial will follow in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
