Ja’Keithon Breshard Cotton was born August 26, 1993 to Valarie V. Cotton in Bogalusa, Louisiana.  He departed this life on August 9, 2019 at 25 years of life.

He leaves to cherish his mother, Valerie V. Cotton; two sisters, Lakysha Cotton, and Ariana (Antonio) Cotton of Bogalusa, Louisiana; three nieces, Kylah Dillon, Anyri Carson, and Kylie Alexander of Bogalusa, Louisiana; grandparents; Shondra Causey, Rhonda Cotton-Arinde and Alfredia James of Bogalusa, Louisiana; two uncles Anthony (Carletta) Hall of Slidell, Louisiana and Cullie (Amy) Cotton of Bogalusa, Louisiana, three aunts; Tricia (Rickey) Conerly of Franklinton, Louisiana, Cullene T. Cotton of Shreveport, Louisiana, and Auntania (Darrell) Self of Bogalusa, Louisiana, god-mother, Wanda Matthews of Bogalusa, Louisiana, god-sisters; Candid Scott and Bria Scott of Lacombe, Louisiana, Courtney Matthews and Patricia Campbell of Bogalusa, Louisiana; one god-brother Jhamarrick Campbell of Bogalusa, Louisiana and a host of great-uncles, great-aunts, cousins, extended family and friends.

He was preceded in death by grandparents, Curllie and Claudette Cotton; two aunts, Mary Hall and Janet Cotton; one uncle, Kenneth Cotton.

Visitation will be held Saturday, August 24, 2019 from 9:00AM – 12:00 Noon followed by the funeral service at 12:00 Noon at Greater Ebenezer Baptist Church in Bogalusa, Louisiana from, with Rev. Raymond Mims – Pastor Officiating. Interment – Bogalusa Cemetery.
