BPD thanks the following agencies for their assistance in the operation: Louisiana State Police, Washington Parish Sheriff's Office, Franklinton Police Department, Louisiana Department of Probation and Parole, Mandeville Police Department, Covington Police Department, and Varnado Police Department.
Two night totals show that there were over 115 citizen contacts, 20 arrests for a variety of crimes, including narcotics and firearms violations, and 7 firearms seized. Our goal is to put an end to the senseless violence that has recently plagued out community, and we feel the operation was an overall success.
