Bogalusa Strong June Meeting is Tomorrow

Come join Bogalusa Strong for their monthly meeting Tuesday (June 25, 2019) from  12:00 PM to

1:00 PM at the Bogalusa Country Club. The meeting will feature a presentation entitled “Moving Forward: Let's Make It Happen”. Moving forward into its second year, Bogalusa Strong wants to focus on what the community has identified as important to them and make some great strides in meeting these needs.

Bogalusa is experiencing a rebirth and continues to be a city full of passionate, caring people who are working together to create solutions.

A donation box for men, women, and children's gently used clothes, shoes, etc. and for blessing box items will be available at the meeting to support the homeless and those in need.

The lunch menu includes Salmon or Baked Chicken, Salad Bar, Baked Sweet Potato,  Wild Rice, and Grilled Peaches Dessert. The Bogalusa Country Club dining services is  under new management-Golden Pear Restaurant. Lunch is $10.00 and debit and credit cards are now accepted.

What is Bogalusa Strong? Bogalusa Strong is a collaboration of community members, leaders, businesses and organizations working together to improve quality of life by promoting physical, social, and environmental health. Supported by Mayor Wendy Perrette, the Mayor’s Wellness Council, Our Lady of Angels Hospital, LSU AgCenter, and the Louisiana Department of Health Well-Ahead Louisiana, Bogalusa Strong works to empower a vision for a healthier community. Bogalusa Strong meets the 4th Tuesday of each month at 12:00 p.m. at the Bogalusa Country Club.
