Robert David Gunnell, Sr., bid this world goodbye on May 5, 2019, at the age of 61. Robert was born on April 24, 1958 in Bogalusa and called it home for most of his life.
He is survived by his wife, Rhonda Gunnell; children, David Gunnell, Kelly Thiebaud (Ryan), and Justin Gunnell; granddaughter, Miley Thiebaud; brother, Millard Gunnell and Gary Gunnell; sister, Belinda Martin (Ray); brother in law, Fred Jarrell.
He was preceded in death by his mother and father, Ernestine and Shelton Gunnell; and sister, Alice Jarrell.
Funeral arrangements are being handled by Poole Ritchie Funeral Home in Bogalusa, LA.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 10, 2019 from 1:00 P.M. until 3:00 P.M. at the Varnado United Methodist Church. Funeral services will be held at the church on Friday at 3:00 P.M. with Rev. Kathy Pfleider officiating. Interment will follow at the T. P. Fornea Cemetery, Varnado, LA.
