Hattie Keys Minor-Burnell
May 30, 1942 - April 27, 2019



'For we know that is if our earthly house of this tabernacle were dissolved, we have a building of God, an house not made with hands, eternal in the Heaven." 2 Corinthians 5:1

Mrs. Hattie Minor- Burnell was born May 30, 1942 in Walnut Grove, Mississippi to the late Denson Keys and Mandy Elizabeth Woods Keys. She departed this life on April 27, 2019 at 76 years of age. She left this earthly life and transitioned to her period of eternal rest in Jennings, La.

She leaves to cherish her memories with her husband R.S. Burnell of Houston, Texas. Three daughters Gail Quillen of Houston, TX.; Tonya Bickham of Columbia, MS.; Letitia (Johnnie) Lewis of Baton Rouge, La.; and Christine Moses of Bogalusa, La. One sister Mary Louise (Bishop Howard) Quillen of Bogalusa, La. 17 grand children and 31 great grand children.

Hattie is preceded in death by her mother Mary Elizabeth Keys, her father Denson Keys, daughter Charlotte Gibson, Grandson Paris Gatlin and two sister Edna Mingo and Mary Francis Quinn.

Visitation services on Friday, May 3, 2019 at Crain and Sons Funeral Home- Bogalusa, Louisiana from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.; followed by the family hour 5:00 - 7:00 p.m.

Funeral services on Saturday May 4, 2019 at First Church of God In Christ In Bogalusa, La. at 3:00 P.M., Bishop Howard Quillen, Pastor; with Dr. Charlie Elliott Turner of New Pleasant Grove Missionary Baptist Church of Houston, TX.,  officiating.

Interment in the Rest Lawn Park Cemetery- Avondale, LA.

Crain and Sons Funeral Home- Bogalusa are in charge of arrangements.
