Bobbie Stogner Carter a native of the Stateline Community and a resident of Angie, LA passed away Tuesday, April 9, 2019 at Our Lady of Angels Hospital in Bogalusa, LA at the age of 83.
She is survived by her daughter, Dale (Willmon) Freeman of Angie, LA; 5 grandchildren, Tim (Jennifer) Freeman of Orange, TX, Tom (Leana) Freeman of Varnado, LA, Angela (George) Thurmond of Varnado, LA, Aaron (Robin) Freeman of Lake Wylie, SC, Shane (Ashley) Freeman of York, SC. Also survived by 17 great grandchildren, and 3 great great grandchildren, other relatives, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Hershel Carter; mother, Lillie Glover; father, Eli Stogner; sister, Edwina Kinsey; brother, Willie J. Stogner.
Funeral Services will be held in the Chapel of Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home on Friday, April 12, 2019 at 2:00 P.M. with Rev. Kelly Penton officiating. Internment will follow in the Bonnie Cemetery, Angie, LA.
A visitation will be held at the funeral home on Friday morning from 10:30A.M. until service time at 2:00 P.M.
