Nanetta Adams Terrell died Saturday, March 31, 2019, in Franklinton, LA. She was born May 17, 1927, in Bogalusa, LA., to the late Sam and Vera Jenkins Adams.
Nanetta is survived by her beloved husband of 76 years, Ubert Terrell. One son, Aubrey Terrell of El Paso, TX. Four granddaughters, Maureen Woodhouse, Leslie Salinero, Jenny Barroteran and Kellie Strawley. Five great-grandchildren, Andrew Woodhouse, Emily Woodhouse, Cassandra Woodhouse, Conner Barroteran and Drew Barroteran. And numerous nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by two sons, Bruce Terrell and Keith Terrel. Four sisters, Geraldine Adams, Ludelia Knight, Faye Tynes, Lorraine Wallace. One brother, Sam Adams. The Reverend Paul Corse will officiate. Pall bearers will be nephews, John Magee, Robert Terrell, Paul Magee, Roy Magee and Sam Magee. And great-nephew, Ben Caldwell.
Visitation will be from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM on April 5, 2019 at Brown-McGehee Funeral Home in Bogalusa, Louisiana where the Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 AM on April 6, 2019. Interment will be at Hillview Memorial Gardens in Bogalusa, Louisiana.
