Sandra F. Peters-Young of Angie, Louisiana was born January 29, 1959 to the proud mother, Velma Peters and father, Freddie B. Peters. She joined Live Oak United Methodist at an early age. She dedicated herself to directing the choir until her health declined.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Velma Peters and Freddie B. Peters; her brothers, Freddie B. Peters, Jr., and Sgt. Michael Orrin Hines, Sr.
We as Christians all have a claim check. There are many things we can purchase with that claim. They are both spiritual and natural. On March 3, 2019 Sandra F. Peters-Young presented her claim check at Pam Specialty Hospital of Covington. I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith and now I shall receive eternal rest on the journey into eternity, leaving from the banks of Jordan.
She leaves to cherish her loving memories; her two daughters, Lashonda Peters and Jasmine Peters both of Angie, LA; one granddaughter, LaDernica Peters of Angie, LA; four brothers, Larry (Lula Bell) Hart of New Orleans, LA, Kenneth W. (Jerry) Peters of Bogalusa, LA, Michael A. (Sandra) Peters of Columbia, MS and Calvin D. Peters of Bogalusa, LA; one God brother, Melvin White of Bogalusa, LA; one sister-in-law, JoAnn Peters of New Orleans, LA, two special friends, Katrina Daniels of New Orleans, LA and Dorothy Williams of Bogalusa, LA and a host of relatives and friends.
Visitation will be on Friday, March 8, 2019 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Crain and Sons Funeral Home in Bogalusa, Louisiana. The Funeral Service will be Saturday, March 9, 2019 at Live Oak United Methodist Church in Angie, Louisiana.
