Patricia Leddy Romano
January 3, 1948 - February 2, 2019



Patricia Leddy Romano, age 71 and a resident of Franklinton,  died Saturday afternoon February 2, 2019 at Riverside Medical Center. She was a native of New Orleans and a former longtime resident of St. Bernard Parish before moving with family to Franklinton in 2005. Pat worked as a nutritionist for the school system of the Archdiocese of New Orleans for over 30 years. She was always very proud of her Irish heritage and studied genealogy of her family and others. Pat was a talented seamstress and an excellent cook that enjoyed hosting her family and friends for meals and get-togethers. She was not limited to just work inside her home, as she liked to garden and was able to perform carpentry, having helped build her own home and even constructed outbuildings and sheds on her property.

Survived by: Daughter and Son in law: Cynthia Romano Savarese and Ralph Savarese of Picayune, MS; Son and Daughter in law: Anthony Romano, Jr. and Melissa Romano of Franklinton; Grandchildren: Ava Kathleen Savarese, Ethan Andrew Romano, Gabriel Joseph Romano; Sister and Brother in law: Jeanette Leddy Carroll and Jonathan Carroll of Denham Springs; Brother and Sister in law: Gary and Kim Leddy of Covington; Mother in law: Lorraine Smith Romano Wall of Foley, AL; Sister in law and Brother in law: Brenda and Trent Trawick of Foley, AL; Also numerous nieces, nephews and other family members.

She was preceded in death by her husband Anthony Romano, Sr., son Sean Patrick Romano, grandson Evan Andrew Savarese, parents John Curtis Leddy and Rita Walsh Leddy, sister Claudette Leddy and brother John Curtis Leddy, Jr.

Visitation will be at Crain Funeral Home Saturday February 9th from 12:00 pm until 2:00 pm. A funeral service will be held will be held in the funeral home chapel at 2:00 pm Saturday. Burial will follow in Ellis Cemetery.
