Diane Harry Johns was born on December 11, 1947 in Picayune, Mississippi to the late Roscoe Harry and the late Katie Mae Jones Harry. She departed this life on October 29, 2018.
She leaves to mourn, her son Michael David Johns, Sr., her five brothers: William Harry (Lauren) of Picayune, MS, Elijah Harry (Rose) of San Antonio, TX, Levi Harry (Ketta) and Raymond Harry (Felicia) both of Angie, LA and Ronald Harry (Sonya) of Round Rock, TX; four sisters: Augustine Braithwaite and Janice Moses (Theodore, Jr.) both of Angie, LA, Jo Ann Carvalho (Doug) of Newbury Park, CA and Edna Montgomery (Thomas) of Lancaster, CA; four grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts and cousins; a special aunt Edith Roberts, devoted cousin and friend Emma Harry and devoted friend Doris Smith.
Diane was preceded in death by her parents, Roscoe and Katie Mae Harry, her husband David Johns, Jr. and her grandson Michael David Johns, Jr.
The viewing will be held at Crain & Sons Funeral Home in Bogalusa, Louisiana on Monday, November 5, 2018 from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 6, 2018 from 11:00AM -1:00PM followed by funeral service at 1:00 p.m. at Wesley Ray United Methodist Church in Angie, Louisiana, Reverend Terrence August officiating. Interment – Moses Cemetery. Crain and Sons Funeral Home – Bogalusa are in charge of arrangements.
