Washington Parish Man Arrested For Forcible Rape

Adam Bush (20), a resident of Robin Lane near Highway 440 northwest of Franklinton, was arrested

by Washington Parish Sheriff’s Office detectives on an arrest warrant charging him with Forcible Rape. Bond for Adam Bush has been set at $250,000.

Due to the sensitive nature of the crime and to protect the identity of the victim, additional information will not be released.

Sheriff Randy Seal was forthcoming in his response to the arrest. “The details of this crime are beyond comprehension of the decent citizens of our parish. It is inconceivable that anyone could violate the rights, privacy and sanctity of another person in such a despicable manner. I applaud both the forensic interviewer at the Child Advocacy Center and our detectives for making this arrest happen. Bush is now in jail where he belongs.”
