Shooting Death in McComb

Today (October 1, 2018), McComb Police Officers responded to 120 Gillis Circle, Community Parks, in reference to a shooting. Officers arrived on scene and discovered Irvin Pittman (31) of McComb with multiple gunshot wounds. Pittman was transported to Southwest Mississippi Medical Center for treatment but later died as a result of those injuries.

Through the investigation of the incident, a possible suspect has been identified in the shooting. McComb Police Department has been in contact with the suspect and he is expected to turn himself in to Law Enforcement. No further information can be released at this time, due to the ongoing investigation.
