Leona Williams Miller, a resident of Bogalusa, LA., passed away peacefully at the age of 104, on Saturday, October 6, 2018, at Resthaven Living Center. She served as a school guard for many years and also a well known seamstress and avid quilter. Leona’s true love was here church, Church of United Faith.
Leona is survived by one son Robbie and his wife Carolyn Miller, and one daughter in law Arlene of Bogalusa, LA. She is also survived by Fourteen grandchildren, Nineteen great-grandchildren and fifteen great-great grandchildren, as well as numerous other family members.
She is preceded in death by her husband Andrew Miller, son Dudley Jo and his wife Claudine Miller, daughter Betty and her husband Robert Davis, son Randy Miller and granddaughter Kristen Taylor. Brothers W.B., Travis, Troy and Ned and one sister Gladys Lofton.
Visitation will be from 10 am to 3 pm October 9, 2018 at Brown-McGehee Funeral Home in Bogalusa. The Funeral Service will follow at 3 pm. Interment will be in Ponemah Cemetery.
