She was born June 14, 1938 in Hamberg, Germany before moving to the United States and Washington Parish following her sister in 1957. She loved to knit and crochet, making countless sweaters and baby blankets over the years. Earlier in life, Bea enjoyed fishing and often riding motorcycles. She attended Acy’s Creek Missionary Baptist Church, Wilmer Missionary Baptist Church and also often visited Canaan Baptist Church, where she always enjoyed the bond she shared with her different church families.
