Jolene Marie Nitcher
July 24, 1961 - October 22, 2018



Jolene Marie Nitcher, age 57 and a resident of Franklinton, died at 2:20 pm Monday October 22, 2018 at her home. She was a native of Iowa born on July 24, 1961. Jolene loved riding motorcycles and listening to her favorite rock and roll music. She enjoyed fishing and spending time in the outdoors, often looking up at the beautiful sky or star-gazing late at night. Recently, she loved watching the Hallmark channel and her favorite TV show Mom. Jolene had a special place in her heart for her pet dogs Heidi, Anna and Rosco and she loved spending time with her young grandchildren.

Survived by: Father and Step-mother: James and Connie Nitcher of Manly, Iowa; Mother and Step-father: Joan and Gary Saucier of Poplarville, MS; 2 Sons and a Daughter in law: John Gregory Jones, Jr. and Tracy J. Jones, Justin Cody Jones all of Franklinton; Daughter: Brandy Nicole Jones Coleson of Mississippi; Grandchildren: John G. Jones, III, Madison Rogers, Alexis Rogers, Gavin Rogers, Kelce Spout, Brandon Lee, Braxton Lee, Halie Rush, Dyllon Rush, Angel Redmond; Brothers: Jeff Nitcher, Gary Eugene Saucier, Jr.; Sister: Laurie Nitcher and her mother Susan; 4 Step-brothers: Chad Kamish, Matt Kamish, Luke Kamish, Elijah Kamish; Uncles and Aunts: Dave Nitcher, Phyllis Nitcher, Mary and Wendell Roe, Marlene and Gilbert Smith; Also numerous nieces, nephews and other family members

She was preceded in death by her brother James “Jimmy” Nitcher, Jr., grandparents William and Iva Nitcher, Rosetta and Paul Edward Krumm, aunt Betty Bohl, uncles Richard Nitcher, Robert Krumm, Ronnie Krumm.

A memorial service for family and friends will be held at 1:00 pm Saturday October 27th at the home of John and Tracy Jones. A memorial service will also be held in her native Iowa in the coming weeks.
