The preliminary investigation revealed that 35 year old Brent Molaison of Thibodaux made a left turn in front of Lee. Lee struck the passenger side of Molaison’s vehicle and was ejected from his motorcycle. Lee suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced deceased on scene by the St. James Parish Coroner’s Office. He was wearing a DOT approved helmet at the time of the crash.
Molaison was wearing his seat belt and sustained moderate injuries. He was transported to the Thibodaux Regional Medical Center by Acadian Ambulance Service for treatment.
