Eunice Marie Plaisance Michel, age 97, died Friday evening August 10, 2018 at the Good Samaritan Living Center in Franklinton. She was a longtime resident of Westwego, LA and had lived with family in Washington Parish for the last 12 years. Eunice always enjoyed cooking and entertaining her family for the holidays.
Survived by: 2 Sons and a Daughter in law: Robert A. Michel, Sr. and Donnie Michel, Alan P. Michel; Brother and Sister in law: Earnest “Buck” Plaisance and Annabell Plaisance; Also numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband of over 60 years Frank J. Michel, Sr., a son Frank J. Michel, Jr. and grandsons Frank J. Michel, III and Scott A. Michel.
A private family entombment will take place in the Our Lady of Prompt Succor Cemetery in Westwego at a later date. The cemetery is near to the Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church, where she was married in 1938.
