Gregory Alton Rawls, age 60 and a resident of Pine, died Saturday morning August 4, 2018 at Heritage Manor Nursing Home. He was a former off-shore worker for many years and also worked as a security guard. Greg most recently worked at Tastee Cream in Bogalusa for several years. He always enjoyed visiting with his family and many friends.
Survived by: Mother: Ruby Cooper Graves of Warnerton; 2 Brothers and Sisters in law: Wayne and Jenny Rawls of Mt. Hermon, Billy and Aundrea Rawls of Pine; 2 Sisters and a Brother in law: Karen and Abel Smith of Warnerton, Sheila Hartzog and Paul Dykes of Pine; Also numerous nieces and nephews; Special Friend: Laura Byrd and her sons Austin Stuart and Grayson Stuart
He was preceded in death by his father Billy J. Rawls, step-father Ed Graves and a niece Amanda Thomas.
Visitation will be at Crain Funeral Home Tuesday August 7th from 10 am until 1 pm. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel at 1 pm Tuesday with Rev. Leonard Smith and Eld. J.W. Graves officiating. Burial will follow in the Warren W. Breland Cemetery in Pine.
