August 2, 1956 - July 27, 2018
Gaynell Terrell, age 62 and the daughter of LC terrell and the late Ellen Rae Terrell, passed away in Covington on July 27, 2018. Gaynell was a graduate of the LSU School of Journalism and graduated with honors. She once spent six months in south Antartica writing research information. She wrote for several papers and magazines around the country. Gaynell grew up on avenue F and was a special person, loved by all. She was a member of the “gang of five”, who are asked to call 9857894691.
Survived by father LC Terrell of Sun, sisters Joy Terrell of Baton Rouge and Jan Foley of Lafayette. She is preceded in death by mother Ellen Bankston Terrell and sister Katheryn Terrell.
A memorial service will be held with her sister Kathryn Friday on August 3, 2018 at 2:00pm at Brown-McGehee Funeral Home. A short interment service will follow at Hillview Memorial Gardens located on Spring Valley Road in Bogalusa.
