Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff Daniel Edwards reported today (August 3, 2018) that a joint operation conducted on August 1, 2018 led detectives to a slew of illegal drugs, cash and guns. Large amounts of suspected heroin, methamphetamine, marijuana, prescription medication, $3439.00 in cash, an assortment of paraphernalia, and three firearms (two of which were reported stolen) were seized.
The seizures were subsequent to the execution of a search warrant at a residence on Miley Niquiporo Road in Tickfaw in a joint operation with the Hammond Police Department, the DEA, and the Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff's Office.
Zetrick Tramela Jones (24) and Elmyra Gertrude Grady (24), both of Tickfaw, were arrested on narcotics- and weapons-related charges.
