Geneva Vashti Corkern Crowell was a beautiful soul of 78 years that passed on Tuesday, July 10, 2018. She was the best April Fool’s present one could receive in 1940.
Geneva enjoyed arts and crafts, gardening, music and reading.
She is survived by two sons, Jerry Crowell and wife Anne of Bogalusa, LA, and Richard Crowell of North Carolina; two granddaughters, Amanda Williams of Warner Robins, GA, and Sara Strauser and husband John of New Orleans, LA; two sisters, Vermell Reid and husband Joe of Robert, LA, and Paulette Sanders of Vicksburg, MS; and a brother, Linwood Corkern and wife Irene of Franklinton, LA.
She was welcomed home by her daughter, Debra Crowell Williams; a brother, Pete Corkern; a grandson, Joseph Raborn; and her parents, Preston and Idell Corkern.
The family would like to express great gratitude to Geneva’s caretakers.
