Obituary

Tony Eugene Bowman
January 13, 1957 - July 12, 2018

Tony Eugene Bowman, age 61 and a resident of Varnado, died Thursday evening July 12, 2018 at his home. Tony, known to many as “Coondog”, was a simple man who lived life to the fullest. He was an avid fisherman and sportsman. Tony hunted everything from deer, to turkeys, to doves, to women and in no particular order. He lived for today, only worrying about tomorrow if or when it came. Worldly materials never held much value to Tony. He would literally give you the shirt from his back if you asked. Tony often found himself in strained relationships with his children, but he always loved them to the very best of his ability. He was far, far from perfect, and never pretended to be, but his many good qualities far out-weighed the qualities he was lacking. Tony cherished his many lifelong friends, always right there ready when they called for the next outlandish adventure. He was headstrong and did things “His Way” right up until the end. Tony was disliked by few and loved by many and he will forever remain in the hearts of those closest to him. The world won't be near as bright without him for those who loved him most.
