Mildred Emily Bridges
July 11, 1935 - July 13, 2018



Mildred Emily Bridges, a resident of Kentwood, La., born at home in Kentwood, La. on July 11, 1935, raised in Kentwood, passed away on Friday, July 13, 2018, at age 83, at Belle Maison Nursing Home in Hammond, La.
Visitation will be held at McKneely Funeral Home in Kentwood, La. on Wednesday, July 18, 2018 from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Funeral Services to be held at 11:00 a.m. There will be no graveside services.
She is survived by daughters Emily Darlene Chase Vampran of Kentwood, La. and Sophie Jewel Chase Rieger and spouse Bobby Rieger of Nacogdoches, Texas; Granddaughters Jennifer Vampran and spouse Chuck Passman of Livingston, La.,  Danielle Vampran and spouse Edwin Pace of Albany, La., Emily Lauren Butler of Nacogdoches, Texas; Grandson's Joel "Joey" Vampran and spouse Tasha of Holden, La. and Christian Carter of Kentwood, La.; Great Grandchildren Brooklynn, Kayley, Izabella and Samuel; Nieces Barbara Bridges of Zachary, La and Rene McDaniel of Kentwood, La.; Nephew, Richard Bridges of Amite, La.
She was preceded in death by her sons; Randall Gene Chase and Huey Todd Trahan; daughter Nancy Christine Chase Chandler; Sister Virgie Bridges;  Brothers: Billy Bridges and Edward Bridges and infant brother Frank Bridges;  parents Nina Young and William Otis Bridges.
We would like to give a special "Thank You" to the staff at Belle Maison Nursing home and New Century Hospice Care for their compassion and care they gave during the last weeks of her life.
Also, special "Thank You" to her caregiver of 7 years Patricia; and Nurse, Lisa for all of the care they have given.
