McComb Burglary and Auto Theft Suspects in Custody

Crime Stoppers of South Central Mississippi reports the arrests of two following a night of burglaries and auto theft early Saturday morning (July 14, 2018). Arrested are Jasmin Jones and Eric Tredon Jerral (22) of Atlanta, Georgia.
Jones was arrested by the McComb Police Department before noon on July 14th after responding to a suspicious vehicle parked at the Camellia Motel in McComb. Jones was found sleeping behind the wheel of a white Chevrolet Impala. Officers recognized the vehicle as being the one reported in a previous burglary at “Love‘s Kwik Stop” and as the one stolen from “Mouse’s Auto Sales #2. Jones had checked into a room at the Camellia Motel shortly before 8 AM on July 14, 2018 accompanied by another black male driving a blue Dodge Caravan with Georgia plates. Officers attempted to make contact with the other occupant of the room and noticed large amounts of clothing from motel window. A search warrant was executed and most of the reported as stolen was recovered.
Jerral was located Sunday night (July 15, 2018) McComb Police Department officers driving a blue Dodge Caravan. He is reported to be on felony probation out of Dekalb County Georgia and is currently being held on misdemeanor Possession of Stolen Property charges by McComb Police Department.
